The U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier has arrived in the Middle East , and is currently near India. The White House has indicated that a strike on Iran is imminent, and Israeli sources are indicating that the potential strikes may begin this weekend.

The federal reserve just voted to keep the interest rate steady at a baseline of 3.50% - 3.75%. This is the first time since September that the board voted not to cut the interest rate, and comes among much uncertainty surrounding the U.S. and global market. The vote passed with 10 confirming, and two voted for another interest cut.
